Hey Phonetic Users! If you’re anything like us, we know you spend a lot of time in front of your backlit screens browsing your go-to crafting sites in search of your newest inspirations and projects. With the fall season upon us, we thought we’d share some of our favorites!

  1. Metallic Candle Huggers

    LOVE this one from Bluebird Kisses, and it couldn’t be easier!!

    All you’ll need is an apple corer, miniature pumpkins, metallic spray paint, and taper candles!

    • Spray the pumpkins & let dry
    • Core pumpkins
    • Insert candles
    • Pretend the process was a lot more difficult!
  2. Seasonal Succulents

    Who would have thought succulents could get any more adorable! Momtastic’s DIY succulent planters are a must this fall.

    All you’ll need:

    • Miniature pumpkins
    • A knife
    • A spoon
    • Succulents

  3. Portrait Pumpkin

    This Decoupage pumpkin is such a great little project to get you creative and nostalgic at the same time! Whether you choose old photos of family & friends, a tribute to your celebrity crush, that adorable fur ball of yours, or a collage of some of your favorite things—the possibilities are endless!

    The combo of fresh flowers and this pumpkin vase will have your home fall-ready in no time! You’ll need a faux pumpkin, a knife, a pencil, and container that will fit inside of your pumpkin. And a bunch of your favorite flowers of course!

    • Mark a cutting line that will give you enough room for your container
    • Cut with even strokes along your guide
    • Place container inside and clean any rough edges
    • Move your flowers into their new home!

  7. Gourd Graffiti

    Yet another super easy project to satisfy your fall fever, and so much room to play around with patterns!

    You can use a fake or real pumpkin for this one, and spray paint colors of your choice! Create webs with tape, use lace or stencils for fun effects! Just spray, let dry, and enjoy!!

  8. Spooky Stitching

    Did you know you could cross-stitch a pumpkin? Neither did we! This pumpkin is way cool, and no prior cross-stitch knowledge is required!

    What you’ll need:

    • A faux pumpkin
    • Thick yarn
    • A bamboo skewer (or something similar)
    • A yarn needle
    • A pencil

  9. Gram’s Gourds

    Add some fall flare to your space with this hip little DIY! You’ll just need a pumpkin, a handful of doilies, and liquid starch.

    • Dip the doilies in liquid starch
    • Place them on pumpkin and stretch them until flat
    • Let dry overnight
    • Wipe off excess starch
