1. Ash from Pokemon

This costume can be created with items from your closet. All you need is a pair of jeans, green gloves, a black T-shirt, a red and white hat, a blue vest, and a white short sleeve button up. If you want to look even more legit purchase a Pikachu at a toy store, some yellow fabric, a sharpie, and some fabric glue. Use the yellow fabric and glue to create the appearance of pockets on the vest and outline the bottom of it as well. Glue the rectangle pieces and fabric trim to the vest. Lastly, draw Ash’s known logo on his hat and you’re ready for Halloween!

2. Pacman Ghost

All you need for this costume is a pink, orange, blue, or red sheet, white and black fabric, scissors, and fabric glue. Next, you want to cut the white fabric into 2 identical ovals. Then you will cut the black  fabric into two identical squares. The sizes can vary depending on your preference. After cutting the shapes out glue them on the sheet. Cut a hole for your head and V shapes along the end of sheet to give it the ghost look. Now you’re ready to go out!

3. Lara Croft

This costume is great because you can get most of it from your closet. All you need is a pair of brown shorts, high tan socks, combat boots, and blue tank top. To make this costume really look like the video game purchase a costume gun holster and two fake guns with it. Pull your hair back into one braid and you’re the spitting image of the Tomb Raider!

4. Iphone

This costume is super fun and relevant now that the 6S just recently was released. Not only is it relevant, but it can be created for under 20 dollars! All you need is a gray and black foam board, duck tape, a printer, and scissors. You want to make the straps to hold the board out of duct tape and then tape them to the foam boards. Print out apps, the carrier name, a wifi symbol, a battery, and the Apple logo to the size of your liking. We prefer larger pictures :-)! Then glue the pictures on the board and you’re ready for the costume party!

Although these are great and inexpensive looks our Phonetic eyewear can always be the go to accessory to make these costumes a one of a kind!
